Iguazu Falls
Generally accepted as the most beautiful and spectacular waterfalls of the world, the Iguazú Falls are made up of over 275 separate falls set in the exotic subtropical forests of the Iguazú National Park, declared a World Heritage Site. The falls form an arch approximately 3km in length, the heart of which is the magnificent “Garganta del Diablo”- Devil's Throat- cascading from a height of 80 metres into the canyon below. The thunderous roar can be heard from miles away.
The Falls, memorable in any setting, are made all the more beautiful by their lush surroundings and the striking red soil.
Although is better to explore the Falls by the Argentine side, the Brazilian one offers the best panoramic views and it is worth to visit it. Please, consult if Brazil requires a Visa for the citizens of your country.
